In church we find people from different walks of life – professionals, housewives, students, grandparents, children, and fathers. Each created group, like the Assembly of God churches in Lexington KY, of different categories gather on occasions for a cause. Games can be an important tool in the ministry of a Baptist church. Games allow the church members to deepen relationships through fellowship and friendly competition, not only entertain. Senior adults also enjoy games as they love and need interaction with their peers in a fun and warm environment.

As older persons, they have the wealth of knowledge and memories from which younger members can benefit. Senior adults of small groups may engage in board games as there is no need to formulate mechanics. Games like chess and checkers for one-on-one games and variations of dominoes for a group of more than two are good games.

Trivia games may also interest the senior adults. Over a lifetime, senior adults of the Assembly of God churches in Lexington KY collect many experiences and much knowledge. Trivia games provide entertainment while giving seniors a chance to display their vast reservoir of collected knowledge. Playing a trivia game can be as simple as researching questions about the church and church leaders years ago, how the church was built, verses from the bible or songs. Event organizers can research these on their own and tailor them to the group's interests.

Video games appeal to the senior adults too. Games like wii bowling have a following among seniors. The games provide entertainment and the seniors need not worry about body pains as its side benefit is low-impact physical activity. Those who are less into techie gadgets may not be so fond of the video games but will surely find it entertaining watching others from their group playing.

In gatherings, the senior adults may also be tasked to lead a youth group where they may share their knowledge. Older people are significant when a Baptist church begins writing its history. They may be able to clearly remember events and people years ago. They've also studied the bible much longer and may interpret it better, and thus may be excellent sources for youth members struggling with a question of scripture or faith. When the Assembly of God churches in Lexington KY encounter a problem, church leaders usually ask opinions of older members as older members have the experience to suggest a plausible solution.
